The construction of the new Convention Centre is well underway. The venue is being built by the company OHL (Obrascom Huarte Lain) who also constructed the stadiums of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona and the International Convention Center in Barcelona (CCIB) where LNG 15 took place. The Convention Centre will benefit from fantastic views, located on a headland overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the city. This state of the art venue has been designed to accommodate the needs of LNG 16 including a 3,000 seat auditorium, breakout and meeting rooms and a 20,000 square meter exhibition hall. The conference and exhibition will be located next to each other encouraging the flow of participants and enhancing networking opportunities available.
